Growing up seeing his mother's alcoholism and its consequences and his mother's eventual death due to the disease, Yesod Williams slides into alcoholism after her death. With 9 years of abuse, Yesod's drummer friend Adam O’Rourke of 2Cents gave him the direction and advice that started his detox from alcohol. Listen to how Yesod changed in lifestyle, nutrition, and exercise after he chose a healthier life, which has made him think more clearly, feel more bright, and be more motivated than ever before. Depression was part of his withdrawal from alcohol, but he kept moving forward to find a better life beyond the bottle. Yesod's LAW Record Label has dropped a new compilation CD entitled, "The House That Bradley Built" with a variety of artists singing acoustic versions of their favorite Sublime songs. The proceeds will go to building Bradley's House, a opioid rehab center, as a tribute to Bradley Nowell, lead singer of Sublime who died in 1996 of a heroin overdose. Next, we have featured guest Kellie Nowell, sister of Brad, who talks about family addictions and fond memories of brother Brad and Sublime.
